ABOUT THE AUTHOR

‘Iwalani Wahinekapu Walsh Tseu has instructed generations of girls and women in performance and Native Hawaiian culture. She began her career as a popular entertainer who helped establish hula as a beloved art form around the world, and who then began a mission of compassion for those touched by cancer. Today her 20-year-old ‘Iwalani Foundation provides resources for community outreach, providing educational services to women about early breast cancer detection and comfort for those undergoing treatment.
