Remembering Lahaina
The Places, People and Culture of Old Lahaina
This beautiful coffee-table book is a lavish collection of more than 250 plein air paintings by 87 professional artists depicting the unique allure and culture of Lahaina, Maui—the historic, much-beloved town destroyed by the devastating fires of August 2023. Published by the Maui Arts League, Remembering Lahaina is a treasured collectible capturing the spirit of the old town: the sheltering mountains, bustling harbor, spectacular sunsets, and popular galleries and restaurants of Front Street. Net proceeds from the book’s first printing go to support the scores of Maui artists affected by the fires.
